Working on the cards now and Graduation is exactly a ~~week~~ 2 days away ^_^ *excited* I think Nali is gonna smack me over the head because i have had yet to come by to pick up the extra tickets she got me ♥♥
I've been running around the neighborhood subbing classes. I decided to start of subbing while looking for a job opening and also getting feel for what each school is like (atmosphere and what not).

Not one of those DA ones though, maybe 'll just grab names of people on LJ that i know of, pull out the first ten from a hat little papers with peoples names and then make em something. Of course there will be a few who will get one regardless :B Yet that still doesn't follow the idea of getting something from someone and not know who it is. ;_; Gah now i'm losing the interest, must not >w;.

LAST WEEK:

*teary* It was the last meeting for KDP the honor society i was in. It was good times TT What am I gonna do now :X Maybe i'll bum around AGA or something, since I have time. Still gonna meet up every once in a while with my friends at KDP-ers though.

My internship ended last week to ;_; My cooperating teacher had a congrats and graduation party for me with her class.I was kinda surprised since it was done on Thursday and usually she have party things on Fridays. I cried when i watched that video they made with the pictures she took while i was there. They had a cake and they also bought me a bunch of teacher stuff i would need my first year. ;w; I felt so awkward starting this week off, not being there, not teaching. It was strange.

QUESTION~!?
Should I do commissions [Since I'm broke and just started working again] in traditional media or CG?
If you leave a reason why that would be helpful(♥♥). I did one during the summer but i don't know if i priced it correctly D: It was twenty bucks and free to see at my gallery now that I'm "FINALLY" submitting it.

Anymahoot. While I go catch up with journals, i hope that everyone is okay! Since i now i free time, i am free to chat on aim and msn.

It's one week left of interning and then a week later graduation.
I do have a lot to say, but i will write about that once my final assignments are done (Which will be this afternoon regardless).
I am mostly writing this to ask anyone who would like a holiday card, to leave there address here. I am receiving quite a few but, nothing is better than working on something nice or cute and then sending em out to people.

I find that working at the school during internship is a bit time consuming (assignment wise), but I also end up feeling very tired at the end of the day. I guess that because I end up with the task of driving to go pick my grandmother up at 11:30 from her job makes it worse( I don't get back home until 12 am). I wish she never picked that crazy timeslot but she doesn't seem like she wants to "try" to get it changed especially since we live so far from it either.

Its gonna be hard when i have assignment I may stay up for during the week. Especially since my mom is trying to avoid going out there to pick her up and whatnot. My weekends are pretty much shot with KDP and on-going assignments as well. So I guess i'm going to have to pull through with all nighters at those times when the workload is a bit overwhelming again.

I should be able to take it! I've gone through a week straight going to sleep at five and waking at 6 to get ready and drive to make it for a class at 8:00!

Right now I'm just trying my best to stay on top of my assignments. Doing good so far, but i think the horrid bri, my co-op. teacher is making do is going to hold me back with the small group assignment.

My internship, placed me in a 3rd grade classroom with 23 students. The teacher is nice, kinda demanding with somethings, but she's cool and the students are good students but very talkative. The school is completely different that most schools I've been to. Its huge for one thing, and has so many students that primary (Pre-K and Kinder) go to a different building, miles away for their classes. Last week consisted of me taking over various tasks, like grading, homework check, taking the class to and from special classes. Lunch time is really short and once you pass 12 pm the day goes by really fast. D: I found myself getting through the H.W. check pretty fast today, compared to how long it took me last week and the students are doing better with getting their assignments done and their agendas signed. I think the consequence of detention after 3 missed homeworks in the month mentioned by the teacher last week woke them up.

Taught Social Studies today, and they learned about maps and how to read them. I want to reinforce it again tomorrow and then have them go into creating their own map of their room, kitchen etc. Hopefully all goes well. It did today but i think i need to move around the room more and ask more questions.

Okay thats it for now. You probably wont hear from me anytime soon for a few weeks!

Student Teaching, Life and such >:

Well first day of student teaching wasn't as bad as i thought it would have been.
I got a third grade class and my cooperating teacher (ct) seems really nice. The school over all is huge, and i guess the fact that they have a separate facility a couple of miles away that has most of the kindergarten and pre-k classes confirms that even more. It just seems to huge for a K-5 elementary school, i found myself feeling lost, when my CT left me in the teacher lounge to make copies and i had to venture back to the room on my own. The fact that the 3rd grade building ("concrete-able" as the assitant principal said) is separate from the school and is so far from everything else makes it worse.

I met with a lot of the 3rd grade teachers and staff This week is just an observe the routine *which reminds me i gotta re-write my reflective journal entry for today* and kinda see how the teacher handles thing while helping out along the way. I pretty much have taken over checking homework, she even said if i can come up with a better idea for checking homework to let her know so i can implement it. And the way she has it is time consuming D: I have to come up with something!

I'm not so sure I want to, but i thought it would probably be a good idea to record my reflective journals about each week on here but I don't even know if anyone would want to read it (would you?). It would make things easier though, not having to type up in the end and such.
I just want to take on this new challenge, with best of my abilities and what I've learned b/c i really haven't had any experience handling an entire class on my own (it was alway small groups).
I start off with either science/ social studies lessons the next week. God willing i will make it through these next 3 months.

I also want to draw something at least every week, especially now my commission is done.

School started for me this week~
Well at least the seminar portion. Saw a ton of people from the many classes i took. Been hanging out with Christine and KDP peeps.
And next week is the beginning of internship for me. They put me at this far away school which is upsetting, especially since, a girl i met at today seminar told me she lives in homestead got a elementary school on Caribbean drive (cutler ridge area) which isn't far at all from my house *pouts*. It takes me quite a bit of time to get through 117st to the school they put me at which is in west Kendall. And they told me there were no schools in my area back in may D:

Got a KDP meeting tomorow, so i must place my camera in my car!!

I signed up for the Professional Education exam today. So this friday i will be taking it on the computer, in the morning. I don't think ti will be to hard especially since I studied (STILL STUDYING TOO)for it and passed the practice exam. Wish me luck!

I am also working on my one commission this week. The owner decided they wanted it CGed instead of traditional coloring, like they originally asked for.

Who is going to see Transformers? I'm not as hyped about it as my friend, but still interested in going to watch it either Wednesday or on the weekend. My Dad, decided we should go watch Shrek 3 all out of the blue. It was quite unexpected, since he really doesn't care too much for cg animated movies or disney stuff. He said he liked the first one so. It was good though. I liked it. I was worried it was going to be kinda blah like the 2nd movie(i never cared for it much).

Oh I 'm really mad about the fact that they took another week of work away from me. I really don't know how i should approach, "my boss" about it. She said the first time that she took a week off my schedule due to low registration (she did seem sorry about having to do that) and that the next time, something like that happens that she would bump me to another class. Then, the guy that helps her out came to tell me shortly before i left on friday that I couldn't work next week. I like my job there, don't get me wrong but, I was told that i would work the weeks I chose during the summer camp. Yet when your saving money for a full time internship in the fall semester, it doesn't help when you keep getting told you won't work one week or you'll work half day another week. I mean i feel like, now that this has been happening, i could have gotten another job somewhere else and not have to deal with not being sure whether or not would work the next week or not. Man I don't know what to do now, I mean i guess I'm stuck with it but if i don't work next week, i think i may leave. Its bad enough, i originally decided not to work one week for that exam on the 21 I have. But to have the first and fourth week of camp, taken off too doesn't help.

Started work today. It was great after, i got past all the confusion with our schedules. Apparently, they changed the schedules agian last week, but i want notified about it. So this week, im working with a teacher in the "Life between the Tides" class, where we go out and have the students explore inthe water as well as teach them about different types of sea life. I was so unprepared, had jeans and shoes on. Went out an bought some of those waterclogs, just for that. In the afternoon, i worked with another teacher inthis chemistry class for 1st graders I believe.

KDP MEETING TOMOROW. I dont know if im gonna be able to seem lively for that XD Its at 8/9 I think, and i was pretty tired same time today.

Things are okay over here :D I have pictures related to some of the things I'm mentioning but i'll post em after their resized and what not. Anyway, things are good, cant complain. I was really sick over last weekend, still trying to get rid of cough i still have. My mom says my voice sounds funny, i don't notice it, but oh well, it will go away... I hope.

I went to FIU today to pick up the case study from my professor (she sent us an email saying to pick em up or she "shred" them). And it turned out, after take about 15 minutes to find parking, that she wasn't there. XD I now don't know what to do b/c her hours are on M/W and next week i work on next Wednesday.

Oh yes, that right I'm working at wayside (preschool) again, until that Wednesday. Then i work full time at Miami Museum of Science for their really neat summer camp June 11-Aug 3rd. I chose 2-5th graders this time for a change of pace. I like the little ones but i wanted to see what working with the older students, in the really interesting classes were like. Woo Metro-rail >w<;

I went to JACON with my best friend Vashti and Apryl sometime early May. Vashti found us awesome hotel(b/c its was close and great fares). It was cool because it was right across the street from the con's hotel and I don't think many people knew about it and ended up paying crazy prices to stay at that hotel. Apryl and I took the Amtrak up to Orlando on May 3rd and Vv met up with us the next day. The con was good. I liked see all the awesome cosplays and going to the different events. Got a Gloomy Bear ♥♥. It was cool, i write more later about it with pictures and whatnot. It was funny coming back down on the Amtrack b/c we got delayed by 2 hours due to a crate/train cart or something sitting in the middle of the track. >: So they had move it.

I did get my grades, all A's in all four of my classes. :]Which I am glad for T_T It was a lot of work. >:

Right now, I have just been working, studying for my FTCE (or lets just say need to pass to graduate) exams, and then trying to find time to work on that commission.I also having been going to AGA meetings. Didn't Edwin or Jen last time >_> Then again it was dark.. I'm horrible at finding people in the dark O_o;;

Vashti's down with her sister but the computer is dead and what not at home. Possibly go to the fair on Thursday :D When she went to MEGACON she got me a Samurai Champloo Music Record: masta that is wicked awesome and a cute Mokona plushie that she didn't tell me spins in circles. omg D: I thought it just vibrates like those silly stuffed animals but it spun around on the the table and i was all wth O_o It's so adorable though. Anyway,I was in a bit of a panic this week because the applications for student teaching (internship) in the fall deadline was today and my adviser was gone for 2 weeks so i couldn't contact her to look over my ~~essay~~ philosophy statement , before submitting it. So i had to turn it in with out her signature and what not, so i didn't completely miss the date. She finally emailed me back today, saying that i can to her office on Monday/Tuesday and then saying that i need to fix my statement. I was sure she was going to say that. I wonder how bad it is, ad I'm kinda scared b/c the lady is so intimidating. If you don't remember(or i mentioned) about two yrs ago during that fall i was going through hell with this lady and her class and come to find out last summer that she is my adviser.

I'm so nervous about internship though O_o Of course there can't be anyway i can fail it, like Christine said but man. :S

Working on my commission and stuff too. Its of two characters that are siblings. They are supposed to look like they are just hanging out, and it has to be colored with with pencils and markers. I sketched a few things for it, but i'll post them later since i need to go and type up a lot of things. I felt so out of it today, looking for books at the library for books for my next lesson and for my field work. Man i have quite a bit to do this weekend too, now i think about it.

As for my classes. They are going okay. Slow though, since i was delayed with a lot of things due weeks ago to because of my field school taking so long to meet with me. :x The fourth reading is really going by faster than i think. I've written about seven (9-18 paged) lesson plans already. We have 3 more left and then the continuum. I like the two girls I got grouped with for the continuum assignment. They are funny and really nice. I passed the recorder recital assignment for the teaching music class, which I'm glad about b/c i thought i had really failed it :0. I had to try 3 times before I started it correctly due to nerves.

Welp i better get back to assignments and such. I know I had more INTERESTING and not school related things to mention. But they just wont come to mind.

Man this week is slow.
Or maybe it just seems that way because i have a terrible headache that came out of no where.)

I'm pretty sure next week is going to be the start of classwork overload. I am going to join a club/ education honor society,Kappa Delta Pi which is pretty neat. Four classmates i have in my classes were there with me at their meeting 8 yesterday. It wasn't a big turn out but oh well ~_~ They do a lot of community service stuff though. And i won a raffle D:. THAT NEVER HAPPENS

Especially since its part of my, not mentioned,get out more make friends and be more talkative resolution of sorts. Its going slowly. What is great about this semester so far is that i know at least 2-3 people in each of my classes. ~~So i don't feel so lonely or something less than that. More like, now i think about my first two semesters i really didn't know anyone but everyone seemed to know each other.~~

Oh my PSP D: It wont play the games. ;_; Which conveniently happened after i wrote that journal(a week or so). The odd thing is i never dropped or anything and the stupid thing wont read the disks.It does all the other PSP stuffs but that and i have 8 games not to mention i bought one this weekend (when it happened) and Sony D: since my warranty is up they want me to send it with $85-9 to get a refurbished one. T_T

Ive been drawing stuff, getting back to using Photoshop :) saintclockwork asks for Choko drawings (since i hardly draw her) and i always end up making them and never posting them so I'm gonna do this massive Chokolat sketch dump on dA.

Hey, everyone. :]
Happy New Year and all that ♥ Hope every ones break was fun and what not.
Went to my first class at eight this morning -_-; My next class isn't until 2 D: So i have five hours and it would be silly and a waste of gas(;_;)to drive all the way back home and then back up here again D: So yeah. 5 hours.
Good thing i have my sketchbook....

If anyone can recommend any good books to me it would be nice since i just finished the next book to Twilight, New Moon by Meyer. Really good ♥ I got a copy for spirited001 for Christmas.

Last Friday was my last day of work at the preschool i worked about for about three years. T_T I couldt work this term with my schedule and stuff. The tricked me, telling me to come to work early for someone, and had a surprise party and stuff for me. It was really sweet ^_^ I'm gonna miss not being there, since it was becoming more so a part of my routine.

I worked on a drawing for a co-workers daughter (Which I told her i'd make for her ages ago ^^;)
Forgot about scanning a copy of it.Hopefully its still home so i can do that tonight, unless my Mom picked up and brought it to them.

Okay, i think that all i had to say.. maybe i'll updat with a doddle later if i find a scanner.

I drew something else but hated it in the end after much effort.

This one class isn't so bad. The mideterm I took yesterday was easier than anyone in class
thought it would be. Now most of us have to work on that efolio paper.
I chose this weekend to do it.[Pros and Cons of Standardized Testing]what FUN =_=.

I got running shoes the other week and have found myself running/walking around the neighborhood a few times lately. Just to keep myself active and lose some weight. Its hard though, after you haven't done it in a while. Yet I find my keeping at it quite well. 3 times a week :)
Drivers with loud annoying horns make me unhappy thou...

Last week i ran into Sam moviewatcher at the bank. :) She got a job teaching english in Japan which is soo neat! Coincidently, my mom told me ourneighbor's daughter Kimberly got a job to teach there too the other day. It sounds so neat.
So then we [mom an' I] went into talking about college classes and when i was graduating with my mom today. She said i should probably just quit my job since i dont get paid much anyway and try to aim for graduating earlier.
[No job=> more classes=> graduate early]

Just a little view of something I did over the weekend but posted today. I forgot about submitting it.

It’s for the contest for yasumicon
It’s a Miami anime convention, so if you live in Miami and you want to go to one you should go. At least you don’t have to go to another state to get there. I hope I can go this year; it’s at Miccosukee Resort & Gaming this year. I've never actually driven up their by myself, last time I was there went with a couple of friends to the reservation. Maybe I can get a ride with someone I know or drive with someone who knows was it is. It’s on my birthday too (just noticed). Maybe I’ll go on the 12 and not 13th.

On to other things!

Next week begins my Summer Camp Internship! So I’m kind of bombarding my self with finish class work for next week, so that I wont have to worry about it then, and focus on the summer camp stuff. Sounds like next week is going to be cool! But I can't believe were almost past the middle of the semester.

One of my teachers is now throwing out assignments at us to make up for lost time I guess. I wish he had they set up on the syllabus before hand so we could work on them earlier.

So now I have to do:

Hey Guys,

Not much as been happening with me.
I managed to pass all my summer classes with A's. :D
My summer classes so far are not so bad. Got out of doing a bunch of hours at a public school (:D)which is a big plus.

I have an internship orientation on friday at the museum of science, for their summer camp.
They actually pay interns $400 to work two weeks. It's going to be interesting. The first week i work, I'm doing a whole chess themed class with the mater teacher. And then on the other well..., i really don't know yet since the person didn't show. Its gonna be easy though. I teach two lessons (one each week), and they do a lot of cool things.

I haven't had time to draw much. I may get a chance to tonight since I took care of lesson plans and thing already for the next week.I really have been wanting to doodle something nice and post it on my artpages.

I still don't have "ANY" of my books for my classes yet. FIU really sux when it comes to posting grades and getting books in. In both my classes only a few of the students have the actual books we need for the class. This is also the first semester actually will need all my books. I've bought books before and never looked at them, its really sad. -_-;

Oh. I finally got my prize for second place in that bag contest, I entered last year.(Thanks for the votes :D) It was sad, I never expected to get anywhere with it and I just got the prize last Friday, thanks to a nice person who didnt have to go out and purchase it since it was not their job :).
It really small thou O_o;; I have to gank new music from people, cause what i have my computer is really old and i haven't bought a cd in a while.

Anywhoo the Wii looks neato. Although i like the other name better. I might purchase one or my brother may ask for it :D. PS3 look like its going to be a lot of money thou.
I wonder is their anything else.. well ive been getting out of the house a lot more, now I'm not bombarded with work from 4 classes, like before.

Apryl and i hung about a week ago at sunset. the week before that Vashti and her bf and I went out to lunch at HOPS. First time ever there. And for Joys birthday we stayed up late watching movies (3am-ish). And Apryl's birthday is tomorrow, so i gotta make her something and sent it in the mail :D Probably draw some CCS since she likes it.

Okay. I'm rambling useless nonsense now, and i have a class at 6:25 -9 so i have to go now.

Looks wonky and i can't fix much. It was just a quick sketch and color anyway. The scanner ate a lot of the colors, especially on her dress. I 'll leave a link for the large version later.(photobucket is evil an made it really small for some reason D:<)

Almost done with all my major papers. Went to the fair last week. S'ok. Had fun.
